A Legacy of Sparkle
At Sullivan’s Jewelers, our story spans three generations of craftsmanship, care, and connection. What began in 1948 with Joe and Violet Sullivan’s humble watch repair shop has evolved into a modern custom jewelry studio led by their granddaughter, Staci Sullivan.
Blending timeless techniques with a personal, design-focused approach, it's an experience second to none at Sullivan's Jewelers. Today, our Downtown Melbourne studio is a destination for those seeking meaningful, one-of-a-kind jewelry with heartfelt customized service. Sentimental sparkle is our specialty. If you like symbolism, Sullivan's Jewelers is the jeweler for you. If you don't know jewelry, know your jeweler. Check out our reviews before you choose. Together we shine, one sparkle at a time.
1948
Joe and Violet Sullivan opened a faith based watch repair shop in North Carolina, fueled by a loan and a single display case won in a checkers match. It marked the beginning of a family legacy business rooted in craftsmanship and determination. Customer service built and maintained the golden reputation the Sullivan's legacy is known for.

1955
The Sullivan family moved to Florida and launched a jewelry and watch repair shop in the Eau Gallie Arts District. At first, the meaningful store sold luggage and kitchenware—but the passion for jewelry soon took center stage. It has been a love affair ever since. Customers love Sullivan's!

1971
Doug Sullivan, Joe & Violet’s second born son, and his high school sweetheart Isabel found passion in their career in jewelry. In 1971, Doug graduated from Bowman Technical Institute in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, mastering the craft of jewelry making and design. His skilled jeweler training laid the foundation for creative custom design. Doug and Isabel’s eye for excellence earned clients trust. Doug’s heirloom quality treasures have been enjoyed by generations of clients. He loved creating treasures with Isabel's selection of hand picked exquisite gemstones. Their eye for quality marked the next generation in the Sullivan's family legacy of jewelers.

1982
Isabel Sullivan, Doug’s wife, graduated with her Gemologist degree from Gemological Institute of America, adding professional expertise to the family’s growing reputation for quality and trust. Her esteemed eye for God's creations won her over in the hearts of many. *photograph with daughter Staci

1987
Doug and Isabel opened Sullivan’s Jewelers, at The Oaks, specializing in custom jewelry design and personalized jewelry service—a dream come true for the couple. Their love for sentimental sparkle made their venture an instant success. Clients followed them to their new location due to their expertise and heart for serving quality, service, and value.

1990’s
Isabel carried on Sullivan’s Jewelers golden reputation after the sudden loss of Doug Sullivan in 1993. Doug’s heart of gold was not only a tremendous loss in the family but in our community. “Diamond Doug” was a gem. He loved helping people shine bright. Their daughter Staci helped at the store; after her dad passed, her vision was to carry on the family legacy. It became important to her.

1998
A trip Isabel and Staci took to the Basel Watch and Jewelry Fair in Switzerland inspired Staci to follow in her family’s footsteps and embrace the passion for jewelry and design. The eye opening experience was the catalyst for bold new creative ideas creating a new generation of sentimental sparkle at Sullivan’s Jewelers.

2001
Sullivan’s Jewelers quality, service, and value are traditions their customers count on. Staci worked with her mom Isabel in the family business as she studied and achieved a bachelor’s degree in business from UCF and a diamond graduate diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. The next step was to buy the business from her mom. The store continued to grow in The Oaks Plaza as the custom design offerings helped reach more clients. We love what we do because of people like you!

2007
After 20 years in The Oaks Plaza, Sullivan’s Jewelers moved to a freestanding location on 192—welcoming in a new era and a new wave of loyal customers. It was a time of peaks and valleys in the economy, but this location served clients well until Staci relocated during her new chapter of life. Her goal was to start a more intimate location in 2019. GOoD news travels fast, Downtown Melbourne became her new home:)

2019
Following a personal transformation, Staci returned to her roots with renewed focus and resilience. Staci values the relationships her family and her have cultivated. Becoming established in the heart of Downtown Melbourne was an opportunity. Being available as a concierge jeweler to help clients shine has always been a great privilege and honor to the Sullivan family.

2020
Staci opened Sullivan’s Jewelers in its current design studio location in the heart of Downtown Melbourne, across from Hotel Melby. The studio was designed to feel warm, artistic, and personal—perfect for meaningful moments. Staci selected the location in part due to the private parking lot located off Strawbridge with a back door entrance. “Give us a ring, we’ll help you shine…” Call or text us at 321-978-2200.
